Volunteers Continue Work on Water Trail

In late Fall 2001, several members of LSWTA gathered for a weekend of continued site development on the Water Trail. The group worked on three significant sites along the northern stretch of the Water Trail: Lutsen Kayak Camp, Northshore Mining Camp and Access, and Taconite Harbor Access. Volunteers for the weekend included: Sandy Aker, John Bachar, Joan Borchert,
Ken Borchert, Vicki Breun, Gordy Breun, David Fox, Laurie Kania, Matt Kania, Steve Mueller and Tim Wolf. Groundbreaking work for new camp-sites, site cleanup, and repair work for a kayak launch were included in the activities. Some members kayaked and others hiked to round out the weekend.
