Expand and map Minnesota's Lake Superior Water Trail (where possible there will be a Water Trail site every 3 to 5 miles); connecting it to water trails in Ontario, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

Produce a Water Trail Guide with detailed route descriptions to accompany our maps. The guide will inform people of the natural and cultural history of the North Shore, as well as where to stop for supplies or emergency assistance.

Build mutually beneficial relationships with more organizations on the North Shore, especially the other human-powered, trail organizations.

Establish an office with volunteer and paid staff to assist the DNR in developing and maintaining the Water Trail.

Organize regular educational, social, and paddling events.

Become a member of the LSWTA and add your name to our growing list of supporters. Numbers are important to our lobbying and fund-raising efforts!

Volunteer to help with the development of the Water Trail. Join our adopt a site program by calling Joan Borchert at (218) 724-2287 for more information.

Provide land to the LSWTA through donations or easements for Water Trail sites.

Make a donation at this time, and remember the LSWTA in your estate planning.
